Betty M. Buck, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed peacefully into everlasting joy unimaginable Thursday, Thanksgiving evening, November 24, 2016, at home in Venice, FL. Though sadly missed, we celebrate with joy her home going.

Born in Logansport, IN, April 28, 1924, she faithfully demonstrated her unshakeable love for God in Christ Jesus, for her husband, her family, and her extended church family.

While in Logansport, she played the piano for services at the Broadway Alliance Church and while living in Venice, was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church.

In Logansport, she was an avid flower gardener, seamstress, co-owner of The College Hill Inn restaurant, and proprietor of Betty’s Balcony.

In Venice, she created hand-painted china and custom hand-made Christmas tree ornaments to be sold as fund raising for the youth of First Baptist Church.

Everyone who knew her will miss her radiant smile and gracious welcome.
