Catherine Grass

Catherine L. Grass, 79, of Logansport, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on January 21, 1939 Catherine was the daughter to the late Doyle and Thelma (Murphy) Hisey. On July 1, 1962 in Rochester, Indiana she married Kenneth D. Grass who preceded in death on November 23, 1993.

Catherine was a Registered Nurse and worked in the surgical recovery room at Memorial Hospital in Logansport. She attended First United Methodist church and loved line dancing and spending time with her family.

Surviving her are two daughters, Athena R. (Jim) Eisan, Logansport; Kendra S. (Randy) Hall, Fulton; grandchildren, Amber Eisan, Chicago, IL; Ashley (Aron) Holcomb, Lucerne; Kylee (David) Felda, Fort Wayne; Jennings (Carly) Hall, Logansport; great grandchildren, Deacon Felda, Fort Wayne; Lane Holcomb, Lucerne; sister, Bev (Jay) Fanning, Taylors, SC; three brothers, Bob (Becky) Hisey; Larry (Pat) Hisey; and Gary Hisey, all of Rochester; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Beth Ann Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21 in the Gundrum Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Logansport or Compassion Ministries.
