Ilene Tabler

ILENE F. TABLER, 97, of Logansport, went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2016 at 11:10 am at her daughter’s residence in Warsaw.

Born April 2, 1919 in Kosciusko County Indiana to the late Henry and Pearl (Brooks) Reed. On June 28, 1986 in Logansport she married Raymond Tabler who preceded in death October 12, 1988.

Ilene retired from Sherrill Corporation in 1985 after 23 years of service. She was a member of the Bridge Church, Formerly called the Riverview Wesleyan Church, Wesleyan Women International, 50 year member of Bethlehem Women's Group and volunteered as a Gray Lady at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Worthington, Michigan City; Donna Lloyd, Warsaw; one son David Babb, Nyona Lake; two step sons, David (Ruth Ann) Tabler, Muskegon, MI; Mark Tabler, Ripon, Wisconsin; step daughter, Linda (Ralph) Stayton, Leiters Ford; step daughter-in-law, Bev Tabler, Walton; two brothers, Ronald (Pat) Reed, Columbia City; Fred (Mary) Reed, Wabash; one sister, Bonnie (Roger) Dale, Wabash; six grandchildren, Several step grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren and 6- great great grandchildren.

One step son, Harvey Tabler, one step daughter, Sharon Darnick, six brothers and one sister, have preceded her in death

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Monday July, 18, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Funeral Home with Pastor Zack Szmara officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of services on Monday at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
