James Higgins Jr.

Jim E. Higgins Jr., 73, of Logansport, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born on December 19, 1941 in New York, he was the son of Jim E. Higgins Sr.  Jim was self employed and enjoyed antique’s, playing poker and in his younger days was very active and spent much of his free time metal detecting. Jim enjoyed spending time with his two sons and his many friends.

Surviving are two sons, Randy Higgins and fiancé Sandi Burchett; and Ryan Higgins, both of Logansport; three granddaughters, Marlee, Emily, and Maranda Higgins.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Katie Higgins.

A gathering of friends and family will be held beginning at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Avenue Bar, 547 Erie Ave in Logansport.
