James “Jim” A. Leddy, 73 of Logansport, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 in his residence.

Born on June 24, 1943 in Portland, Oregon, he was the son of the late Joseph R. and Dorothy (Johnson) Leddy.  In 1984 in Canton, Illinois he married Janet O’Dell who preceded in death in 2003.

Jim retired from Caterpillar after 30 plus years of working there.  He is a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Jim was a member of the Peoria, Illinois Shrine Club, member of the Masonic George Washington Lodge #022 out of Chillicothe, IL, and U.A.W Local 972.

Surviving are two daughters, Melissa (Matthew) Kukulka, Logansport; Nadine Antolik, Pontiac, IL; grandchildren, Joshua Maddock; Zachary Maddock; Morgen Maddock; Mitchell Antolik; Mia Antolik; great grandchildren, Carter Rund; and Carsyn Maddock; brother, Joe (Linda) Leddy, Bartonville, IL; three sisters, Beverly Harvel, Princeton, IL; Joann Hall, Monticello, IN; Cheryl (Mike) Scherer, Chillicothe, IL.

He was preceded in death by three sons, Jimmy, John, and Rick Leddy; and two grandsons, Robbie Leddy and Derick Maddock.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 26, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Virgil Barker officiating. Burial will be on Monday in the Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Sunday.

Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital or Premier Hospice, envelopes will be provided at the Funeral Home.
