Paula Logan

Paula R. Logan, 74 of Williamsport, Indiana passed away Tuesday February 20, 2018 at Franciscan Health East Hospital in Lafayette.

Born on January 7, 1944 in Bethlehem, West Virginia, she was the daughter to the late Perry Raymond and Eva Eleanor (Goss) Knotts. On July 29, 1974 in Danville, Illinois she married Jesse J. Logan who preceded in death on February 1, 2005.

Paula retired in 2003 from Purdue University where she worked in the shipping and receiving area of the agriculture department.  Paula loved animals, she rescued countless numbers of animals over her lifetime. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Paula enjoyed gardening, fishing, crocheting, taking naps and keeping up with her friends on Facebook.

Surviving are her four children, son, Nelson (Lana) Chrisman, Indianapolis; daughter, Eleanor Ann Chrisman, Nashville, TN; son, Jeffrey Scott Chrisman, Columbia, MD; son, Kevin Douglas Chrisman, Williamsport, IN; three sisters, Leah Morrow, Maryland; Mildred Severs, Martinsburg, WV; Mary Ellen Wilson, West Virginia; nephews, Zachary and Matthew Chrisman, Indianapolis; niece, Allison Chrisman, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by seven sisters and four brothers.

A Celebration of Life  will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday February 24, 2018 in the Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, Logansport. IN, with Rev. Aaron Gross officiating.

A visitation for friends and family will be held from 12:00 pm until time of services at the cemetery chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the “Paula’s Pets In Need Fund” at the Greenwood Veterinarian Clinic, 3013 W. IN-28, West Lebanon, IN 47991. Please include in the memo “In memory of Paula Logan”.
