Rhea Corena “Hall” Renkenberger, 98, of Logansport, passed away Sunday Jan. 18, 2015 at 6:15 am in Millers Merry Manor.

Born Aug. 6, 1916 in Logansport to the late Newell Clifford and Gertrude Mae "Spencer" Hall. On May 21, 1939 in Logansport she married Harry C. Renkenberger Sr. who preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2003.

Rhea was a homemaker, servant of God and an avid euchre player. As a member of the River of Life Christian Church she was active in choir, CWF, Women’s Prayer Group, former church treasurer, trustee and Diaconate. She was very proud of the fact that she was a member of the class of 1934 who won the Indiana State Basketball Championship.  Rhea was known affectingly by her family as the Betty Crocker of High street

Survivors include one son, H. C. (Cathie) Renkenberger of Indianapolis; two daughters, Susan Singer Spencer and Karen (Rick) Severyn both of Logansport; six grandchildren, Erin (John) Housefield, Indianapolis; Jason Renkenberger, Brandon, MS; Stanford (Jessica) Singer, Sandy, Utah; Shana (Gregory) Singer-Paul, Henderson, NV; Carson Severyn, Piscataway, NJ; Spencer Severyn, Brooklyn, NY; nine great grandchildren.  Three brothers, Howard, Denton and Richard Hall, preceded in death.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Jan, 21, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the River of Life Christian Church with Pastor Keith Kincaid officiating.

A visitation will be held at the church from 2 – 4 pm and also from 5:30 pm until time of services on Wednesday.

A private entombment will be held at the Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the River of Life Christian Church.
