Clarence "Jack" Rance

Clarence J. “Jack” Rance, 70 of Logansport, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 in his residence.

Born on September 6, 1947 in Logansport, he was the son to the late Robert R. and Janey Eileen (Birnell) Rance.  On March 3, 1968 in Battle Ground, Indiana he married Sandra K. Stokes who preceded in death on February 21, 2018.

Jack sold Kirby Vaccums while living in Florida, while living in Logansport he worked at the State Hospital and also co-owned and operated Rance’s Deer Processing. Jack was a United States Army Veteran, he attended Hillcrest Baptist Church, enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and raising teddy bear puppies with his late wife Sandra.

Surviving is a son, William Jackson (Suzie) Rance, Lafayette; daughter Angela K. Hill, Logansport; four grandchildren; a great granddaughter, and a brother, Timothy (Helen) Rance, Logansport.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard “Dick” Rance, Joe Rance and a sister, Sandra Frye.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Monday, August 6, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home.
