Craig Miller, 86, of Twelve Mile, passed away Saturday November 18, 2017 in Woodbridge Health Campus. Logansport.

Born August 5, 1931 he was the son to the late Dr. Donald L. Miller and Foyvelle “Mimi” (Kiesling) Myers.

On October 27, 1962 in Beaverton, MI he married Barbara E. Schnepp who survives.

Craig was the former President of Myers Spring Company. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Indiana University and went on to receive a degree in education before becoming a teacher at Longfellow School where he taught for twenty years. After his step father, Walter Myers, passed, Craig took over the helm of Myers Spring and continued until he passed the business on to his son Todd. Although no longer at the helm, Craig still stayed active by making deliveries with his co-pilot Wilbur Trinen. Craig was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post #60, V.F.W. Post #3790, Royal Center Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne. Craig was a member of First United Methodist Church of Logansport and attended the Mexico Church of the Brethren. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his yearly trips to Canada.

Surviving along with Craig’s wife Barbara is one son, A. Todd (Gretchen) Miller, Logansport; two daughters, Rindy (Doug) Boedeker, Royal Center, IN; Amy (Dr. Cyprian) Gardine, Grandville, MI; one sister, Marilyn  (Dr. Joseph) Howard, Gulf Breeze, FL; six grandchildren, Eberle Miller, Ananda Boedeker, Cecilia Miller, Walter Gardine, Arthur Gardine, Lewis Gardine; one niece and one nephew.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm Sunday December 17, 2017 in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Myers officiating.

Craig’s wishes included not having visitation prior to the service at the funeral home but everyone is invited to the Mexico Church of the Brethren for lunch and fellowship following the service.
