Don Bonnell Jr.

Donald A. Bonnell Jr., 89, of Kewanna passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in his residence.

Born on June 27, 1928 in Logansport, Indiana, he was raised by his grandparents, Harley and Hattie Bonnell. On June 28, 1947 in Logansport, he married Dolores J. Grace who preceded him in death on April 3, 2017.

Don retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was also a farmer and had worked at Baker Specialty. Don loved to fish, hunt, hike, camp and spend time in Arizona.

Surviving are three daughters, Harriet (Doug) Middaugh, Gold Canyon, AZ; Donna (Jim) Mikesell, Delphi; Mary Lou Youde, Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren, Scott Michael, Logansport; Kathy (Marvin) Pierce, Pahrump, NV; Heather (Mark) Eastin, Phoenix, AZ; six great grandchildren, Taylor Michael, Bryce Michael, Jakob Richardson, Shane Hoch, Emmett Eastin and Ranger Eastin.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM  on Friday May 18, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Vernon officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Lucerne.

Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service on Friday.
