Donna Kelley

Donna L. Kelley, 88 of Twelve Mile, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 in her residence.

Born on June 30, 1929 in Miami County, Indiana, she was the daughter to the late Emory and Elsie (Boldry) Sheets. On June 3, 1951 in Young America, Indiana, she married Marvin R. Kelley who survives.

After marriage she worked briefly for the H.W. Gossard Company, before taking a full time management position at home. Donna was a former volunteer at the 4-H fair grounds working in the community building. She also enjoyed camping, square dancing and spending time with family.

Surviving along with her husband Marvin are five sons, Tim (Elaine) Kelley, Salisbury, NC; Brad (Karen) Kelley, Twelve Mile; Brent (Melissa) Kelley, Logansport; Ryan (Ruth) Kelley, Elkhart; Calvin Jay (Kathy) Kelley, Osceola, IN; two daughters, Marna Dillman (Terry Maroney) Lucerne; Ginger (Mike) Buchanan, Winamac; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Doyle Sheets.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 also in the funeral home. There will be an additional hour of visitation before the funeral on Wednesday.
