Doris Bryan

Doris Jean Bryan, 90, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at McKinney Place in Logansport.

Born on November 11, 1927 in Carroll County, Indiana, she was the daughter to the late Carl B. and Icle L. (Hummel) Jones.  On June 1, 1947 in Deer Creek, Indiana she married Glen E. Bryan who preceded in death May 21, 1991.

Doris was a member of the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church where she had been the Church organist for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Camden chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving Doris is a daughter, Joy L. (Denny) Gaylor, Walton; two sons, Greg (Jen) Bryan, Peru; Glen Curtis (Pam) Bryan, Galveston; sister, Mary (Bud) Harmon, St Louis, MO; sister-in-law, Sue Bryan, Logansport; six grandchildren, Cory Bryan, Tucson, AZ; Brett (Kristie) Bryan, Logansport; Angela (Chris) Croyts, South Bend; Michelle (Chad) Rudd, Flora; Kara (Nate) Burrous, Walton; Leslie (Scott) Wandell, San Diego, CA;  ten great grandchildren, Jesse Bryan, Courtney Bryan, Sophia Croyts, Zeke Croyts, Brady Bryan, Baylie Bryan, Mason Rudd, Carson Rudd, C.J. Burrous and Jensen Burrous; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Jones; brother, Dr. Carl J. Jones and a grandson, David Bryan.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church with Pastor Harry Roselle officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Creek Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Gundrum Funeral Home. There will also be visitation time one hour prior to the funeral service at the Church in Deer Creek.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rock Creek Cemetery Association, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
