Dorothy Anderson

Dorothy E. Anderson, 95 of Logansport, passed away Sunday March 4, 2018 in her residence.

Born on April 13, 1922 in Grass Creek, Indiana she was the daughter to the late Edward and Helen (Adair) Zimpleman. On September 17, 1943 in Logansport she married Charles E. Anderson who preceded in death on April 12, 1990.

Dorothy had previously worked for Muehlhausen Spring Company and the Hildebrandt Corporation. She was also a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Bruce R. Anderson, Logansport; Kevin E. (Carol) Anderson, Cabot, Arkansas; daughter, Marsha J. McNeil, Greenwood; two grandchildren, Adam McNeil; Aaron (Leah) McNeil; three great grandchildren, Dace McNeil and twins, Emmalyn and Avalee McNeil.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers, William V. “Bill”, Kenneth and Dean Zimpleman.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday March 10, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Compton officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until time of services on Saturday.

Memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Calvary Presbyterian Church.
