James "Jim" Gentry

James E. Gentry, 81, Logansport passed away Saturday, October 13th, 2018 in his residence.

Born April 5th, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Roy Michael and Mildred Gentry. On October 6th, 1957 in the Fulton Baptist Temple, he married Sarah Eber who survives.

Surviving with his wife is son Michael Gentry, Lacrosse, IN; two daughters, Kathy (Perry) Frye, Logansport; Dianne (Dean) Beyer, Fargo, ND; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Gabriel Dunnuck (grandchildren).

Jim enjoyed being a dairy farmer and member of the National Holstein Association for over 45 years. He also enjoyed photography, nature, music, and spending time with his family.

A celebration of life will be held 11-1:00PM Friday, October 19th, 2018 at Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester, IN.

Memorials can be made to the American Lung Association.
