Robert Edward McDonald, 67 of Logansport, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 in Huntington County, IN.

Born on January 14, 1950, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Charles and Rowena (Norton) McDonald.  On May 14, 1993 in Logansport, he married Madonna Louise McDaniel who survives.

Robert was a truck driver for G&D Integrated Transportation of Monticello.  He enjoyed camping, horse shows, and was a member of the Saddle Club.  Robert was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving along with his wife Madonna are two sons, Jeremy McDonald, Greensburg, IN; Derick (Sherry) McDonald, Shelbyville, IN; daughter, Amy McDonald, Logansport; step son, Eddie Lee Enyeart, Macy, IN; step daughter, Tammy (Brady) Young, Logansport; four brothers, Sonny McDonald, Monticello; Jack McDonald, Alabama; Larry McDonald; Bill McDonald, both of Florida; five sisters, Betty Simpson; Louise Fording, both of Logansport; Debbie; Della; and Donna; nine grandchildren, Courtney McDonald, Rebecca McDonald, Brandon McDonald, Kodie Young, Cameron Nash, Connor Young, Kylee Young, Hannah Enyeart and Savannah Enyeart; and one great granddaughter, Emery Newhouse; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold; and a sister, Barbara.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Horace Smith officiating.  Burial, at a later date, will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
