Sandra Rance

Sandra K. Rance, 69 of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in her residence.

Born on June 11, 1948 in Great Bend, Kansas, Sandi was the daughter to Rolland and Patricia (Wilson) Stokes.  On March 3, 1968 in Battle Ground, Indiana she married Clarence J. “Jack” Rance who survives.

Sandi worked as a doctor’s assistant, homemaker and a homeschool teacher to her grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Hillcrest Baptist Church for 23 years.

Surviving along with her husband Jack, is a son, William Jackson (Suzie) Rance, Lafayette; daughter, Angela K. Hill, Logansport; mother, Patricia Stokes, Frankfort; two brothers, Wesley (Jill) Stokes, Tennessee; Richard (Debra) Stokes, Wisconsin; two sisters, Debbie (Carl) Herbster, Indianapolis; Brenda (Jeff) Kelley, Lafayette; four grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rolland Stokes.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2110 North Third Street in Logansport. Pastor Brandon Hudson and Pastor Matt Herbster will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday February 26, 2018, and one hour prior to the service, also in the Church.

Memorials may be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church or the Southland Christian Camp in Ringgold, LA.
