Steven "Steve" Rimpler

Steve Dale Rimpler, 62, of Twelve Mile, IN, passed away on Friday January 19, 2018 at his residence.

Born on July 23, 1955 in Peru, IN he was the son to Paul and Judy (Spitler) Rimpler.

Steve worked on the railroad for 29 years. He was a member of the United Transportation Union. He loved working on cars, woodworking, hunting mushrooms, being in the woods, traveling, photography and when it came to Christmas time, he loved his mother’s lemon lush dish.

Surviving Steve is his mother, Judy Rimpler, Twelve Mile, IN; three sons, Garrett (Tiffany) Rimpler, Winamac, IN; Zane Rimpler, Plymouth, IN; Wilson “Scott” (Nancy) Rimpler, Carol Stream, IL; one daughter, Abigail Rimpler, Amboy, IN; one sister, Becky (Keith) Beck, Avon, IN; one nephew, Matthew Beck, Twelve Mile, IN; three grandchildren, Alexander Rimpler, Gracelyn Rimpler, and Grant Rimpler, all of Winamac, IN.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Paul and one niece, Gabriel Beck.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday January 25, 2018 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Russell Officiating.

Visitation hours with family and friends will be held from 11:00am until time of services on Thursday at the Gundrum Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
