Carol M. Shively

Carol M. Shively, 84, of Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Woodbridge Health Campus.

Born on October 27, 1941, in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of George Snyder and Lucille (Rice) Michael. On June 15, 1959, in Logansport, she married Warren William Shively, who preceded her in death on August 24, 1981.

Carol dedicated her career to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, where she served as a Branch Manager in Logansport. Carol had also previously worked for the Logansport Sears store.

Surviving are two sons, Darr Shively of Logansport and Michael (Tracy) Shively of Logansport; one daughter, Annette (Steve) Russell of Logansport; one sister, Judy Flory of Logansport; twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren William Shively; by her son, Warren Scott Shively; stepbrothers Randy J. Michael and Bill Michael; and her sister, Alice Meeks.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday on November 29, 2025, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thomas Officiating. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
