Georgia A. Early, 80, of Twelve Mile, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.


Born on April 18, 1943, in Logansport, Georgia is the daughter of the late Billie Miller and lovingly raised by the late Robert and Margaret (Deitrich) Wolf.  On April 24, 1966, in Logansport, Georgia married Billy J. Early who survives.


Georgia retired as a surgery Nurse at Woodlawn Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, vacations and spending time with her family.


Surviving Georgia, along with her husband Billy, is a son, Greg Early of Lucerne; two daughters, Heather (Tony Edwards) Bell of Kokomo; Alicia Collins of Twelve Mile; sister, Connie (Rick) Laymon of Panama City, FL; 6 grandchildren, Taylor Bell, Dodger Collins, Braxton Early, Brantlen Collins, Alexa Early, and Chloe Early and 2 great grandchildren, Luka and Lucas.


A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Metea Cemetery.


Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, September 15, 2023, also in the funeral home.


Memorials may be made to the Twelve Mile Fire Department First Responders.
