James E. Seward, 76, Logansport, died at 10:25 a.m., Sunday, Jan.
28, 2007, at his residence. He was born on
June 9, 1930, in Sharpsville, to Lee A. Seward and Frances Fern (Hughes). He married Ina Mae Roberts on Jan. 17, 1948, in Kokomo. He retired in 1986 from General Motors after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Kokomo Masonic Lodge #93, and Logansport Eagles Lodge #323.
Surviving are his wife, Ina Mae Seward, Logansport; daughter, Jane Evon Parente and husband Mike, Fishers; sons, James E. Seward
Jr., Gary Lee Seward and wife LeAnn, and Donald R. Seward
and Wife Toni, all of Logansport; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one sister, and three brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport, with Pastor Fred Drye officiating. Burial will be in
Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m.
today at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m.
