Jane Bell

Jane Marie Bell, 89, of Logansport, passed away Sunday October 16, 2022, in her residence.

Born January 19, 1933, in Young America, she was the daughter to the late Wayne and Neva (Hyman) Beck.

Jane graduated from Young America High School. She worked as a dietician for the Logansport State Hospital and retired in 2003. Jane attended Center United Methodist Church, was a former part time instructor at the Logansport Beauty Academy and she owned and operated the Clip and Curl Beauty Shop in Young America for twelve years.

Survivors include two sons, Max Eugene (Lou Ann) Bell, Lafayette, IN; Ira Kent Bell, Peru, IN; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by one son, Jack Bell; three sisters, Jeanne B. Gardner, Catherine Beck, Phyllis Simpson; and one brother, Clive Beck.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday October 25, 2022, in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Cripe Officiating. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Young America.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until the time of the service on Tuesday October 25, 2022, in Gundrum Funeral Home.
