Jean Alice Billiard, age 97, of Logansport, passed away Sunday May 11, 2025, in Millers Merry Manor.
Born September 13, 1927, in Cass County, IN to the late Edmund W. and Mary (Carpenter) Zimmerman. On March 29, 1947, in Logansport she married John “Jack” T. Billiard who preceded her in death on April 13, 1987.
Jean was a homemaker and a retired school bus driver for Southeastern School Corporation and a former member of the Baptist Temple Church.
Survivors include two sons, Allen Kent (Peggy) Billiard, Logansport; Michael (Beth) Billiard, Logansport; former son-in-law, Donald (Brenda) Wood, Galveston; nine grandchildren, Bridget (Neil) Muller, Brian (Krista) Wood, Misty (Andy) Duevalle, Eric (Heather) Billiard, Janet (Brad) McManus, Jenny (Phil) Fitzhugh, Brett (Breanne) Billiard, LeAnn (Josh) Coffing and Jacob (Christina) Kitchel; twenty three great grandchildren, Abby Russow, Bryce Muller, Cassidy (Cody) Hutto, Cail (Caitlin) Brown, Jack Wood, Tucker Wood, Rachele (Martin) Chloger, Teagan Billiard, Taylon Billiard, Amma Fitzhugh, Ahava Fitzhugh, Nehemiah Fitzhugh, Garrett McManus, Macie McManus, Kaedyn Gipson, Wyatt Billiard, Cara Billiard, Hadlie Coffing, Ellie Coffing, Henry Coffing, Addison Kitchel, Nathan Kitchel and Leighton Kitchel; four great great grandchildren, Caroline Brown, Ulrich Chloger, Uriaha Chloger and Bella Hutto.
Jean was also preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Wood and one sister, Eileen M. Cosgray.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday May 15, 2025, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Davis officiating. An entombment will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park cemetery.
A visitation time will be held from 11:00 am until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
