Linda Lou Farris
Linda Lou Farris, 74, of Winamac, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
Born on January 31, 1950, in Logansport, Linda is the daughter of the late Charles E. and Anna L. (Starkey) Hardy. On June 21, 1970, in Logansport, IN Linda married Gary L. Farris who preceded in death on April 23, 2023.
Surviving Linda is a daughter, Shellie (Chris) Cooper of Winamac, IN; son, Matt (Brandie) Farris of Logansport, IN; sister, Edith (Ted) Morrison of Silver Lake, IN; brother, Daniel Hardy of Logansport, IN; seven grandchildren, Alyssa (Johnny) Neal, Brett Cooper and fiancée Shaelyn Lincoln, Kameron (Lauren) Cooper, Jordan Campbell, Sarah (Ryan) Douglas, Kolton Cooper, Kylie Farris; five great grandchildren, Rebecca Neal, Bryce Cooper, Eli Cooper, Isabella Cooper, Klayton Cooper; several nieces and nephews.
Linda was also preceded in death by four sisters, Bonita Farris, Elizabeth A. Hardy, Tina Marie Hardy, and Connie Snay.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:30 pm on Thursday May 16, 2024, in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Candice Hinkle officiating. A burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Foundation.
