Marjorie C. Storey
Born March 26, 1939, in Posey County, Indiana to the late Leland and Annabelle (Willis) Gibbs. On November 3, 1958. in Carmi, IL she married Phillip H. Storey Jr. who preceded her in death on September 24, 2004.
Marjorie formerly worked as a bartender at the Dutch Mill Tavern. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Diana Lynn (Tim) Snider, Logansport; one son, Donald R. (Sherri) Storey, Logansport; one brother, Tom (Bonnie) Gibbs, Mt. Vernon, IN; seven grandchildren, Michelle (Tom) Fry, Melissa Freimiller, Courtney ( Anthony) Mann, Ashley Storey, Rachel (Dane) Hamilton, Phillip Storey and James (Tanisha) Storey; fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, James A. Storey and four brothers.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday March 21, 2024, in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Fultz officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from noon until time of services.
