Marvin Woodrow Cole

Marvin Woodrow Cole, age 83, of Logansport, passed away on Friday August 8, 2025, at 1:45 pm in Miller’s Merry Manor.

He was born December 11, 1941, in Logansport to Vera Florence Coppernoll and Woodrow Wilson Cole. Marvin married Ruthie Spicer on December 9, 1967, in Logansport and she survives.

Marvin was a devoted member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He worked at Chrysler for 38 years before retiring in 2001.

Survivors include his wife, Ruthie; three sons, John E. (Jill) Cole, Robert W. Cole, and James M. Cole all of Logansport, IN; five grandchildren, Zachary Shilts, Jared Cole, Jenna Cole, Brian Cole, and Emily Cole.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lovette Rae Whittington.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am Saturday August 16, 2025, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Logansport with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Friday August 15, 2025, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM in the Gundrum Funeral Home and also one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Memorial contributions in memory of Marvin may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.
