Michelle K. (Sterrett) Edwards

Michelle K. (Sterrett) Edwards, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2025, at Parkview Logansport Hospital.

Born April 5, 1959, in Logansport, IN, to the late Zane L. Sterrett and Joann J. (Murray) Sterrett.

Michelle graduated from Logansport High School in 1977 and Ivy Tech Nursing School where she received her Nursing License. She was a nurse at Millers Merry Manor until retirement in 2023. Michelle’s enjoyed camping, the Hallmark Channel, her fur babies, the beach and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Edwards; her companion of many years, Stan Tocco; sister, Debroah (Grant) Putnam; and her former husband, Britt (Michelle Jackson) Edwards; five grandchildren, Kinsey McDaniel, Savannah McDaniel, London Edwards, Britlan Edwards, Jay Edwards-York; two great grandchildren, Samuel Jones and Lyla Jones; three fur babies, Riley, Maverick and Tucker.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Tyler J. Edwards, one daughter Crystal McDaniel and brother, Stephen Zane Sterrett

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday Nov. 24, 2025, at the Heartland Church Logansport with Pastor Hagin Hiatt officiating. A burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Monday November 24, 2025, from 11:30 am until time of services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society or the Heartland Church of Logansport.
