Patrick Shaver

Patrick E. Shaver, 62, of Logansport, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 in his residence.

Born on February 16, 1958 in Logansport, he is the son to the late Donald E. and Vivian (Felz) Shaver. Pat graduated from Logansport High School. He had worked for Closson Lumber, Summit Circuit, Memorial Hospital and Four County Counseling.

Pat was a proud United States Army Ranger Veteran. He enjoyed being very involved in local politics. He was also enormously proud of being a chairman for the Iron Horse Festival in 1996. Pat enjoyed salmon fishing every year in Michigan and spending time with his family.

Surviving are four daughters, Maria (Virgil) Grace of Royal Center; Nicole Shaver of Logansport; Briena Shaver of Jacksonville, FL; Kayla Shaver of Jacksonville, FL; son, Ryan Shaver, Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, David (Teresa) Shaver of Monticello; Michael (Vanessa) Shaver of Logansport; James Shaver of Chicago; his significant other, Beth Day of Logansport; 10 grandchildren; one great grandson, Carter Lee; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Shaver and a grandson, Michael Vore.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Kelly R. Spencer officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service on Friday.
