Rebecca Ann (Bechdol) Herrold

Rebecca Ann "Becky" (Bechdol) Herrold, age 69, of Twelve Mile passed away at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne on December 24, 2025. She was born on January 1, 1956, to Clarence M. "Bud" and Margaret Ann (Bonnell) Bechdol. On August 10, 1974, in Bethlehem Presbyterian Church she married Mick Herrold who survives.

Becky graduated from Caston High School in 1974. She worked for several years as a hairdresser out of her home and also did hair at Miller's Merry Manor, Rochester Life Care Center, The Neal Home and Cedar Creek where she made many, many friends.

Survivors include her husband Mick and two sons, Justin (Alicia) Herrold and Stacy (Andrea) Herrold; daughter, Amanda Moon; five grandchildren, Makayla Moon, Maddox Moon, Alexsa Herrold, Finlay Herrold, and Hayden Herrold; two brothers, Mike (Ruth Ann) Bechdol and Pat (Liz) Bechdol; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe Bechdol.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 1pm until 5pm at Gundrum Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, December 29, 2025 at 11am at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Terri White officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem M.E Cemetery near Twelve Mile.
