Services for Thelma L. Prentice, 68, Logansport, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died at 9:35 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 14, 1937, in Delphi, she was the daughter of Howard C. and Stella L. Nethercutt Kistler.

Thelma retired from Switches in 1986 after 20 years of service.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, bowling, sewing, water skiing and was an Elvis fan. She was an avid Cub’s fan and loved to listen to the Logansport Berries’ sports on WSAL radio. She also loved to eat at Bob Evan’s with her family.

Surviving are one daughter, Wilda Reeser and her husband, Jeff, Logansport; one son, Eric D. Prentice and his wife, Maureen, Logansport; four sisters, Jean Black, Opelika, Ala., Joan Wren and her husband, Joe, Mary Walters and her husband, Dudley, and Janice Neal, all of Logansport; three brothers, Keith Kistler and his wife, Jan, and Marion Kistler and his wife, Connie, all of Logansport, and Charles Kistler and his wife, Fran, Dry Ridge, Ky.; grandchildren, Jessica Blickenstaff and her husband, Ryan, Alamogordo, N.M., Scott Prentice and his wife, Crystal, Noblesville, Josh Reeser and Joel Reeser, both of Logansport; two great-grandchildren, Ronan and Shaye Blickenstaff; and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers and one sister preceded in death.

Pastor Ken Smith will officiate at the services. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Logansport.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
