Betty Mcquinn

Betty J. McQuinn, 87, of Logansport, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, in her residence.

Born on February 16, 1935, in Rochester, IN, she is the daughter to the late Robert Wagoner who passed away when Betty was young. She was lovingly raised by her mother Dorothy (Pickens) and her husband Jess Murray.

Betty was a 1952 graduate of Logansport High School and attended the Helm Street Church of God. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 3790 Auxiliary, American Legion Post#60 Auxiliary, Moose Lodge, and a charter member of Rochester Eagles Lodge. Betty retired as an admitting clerk for Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Surviving Betty are three daughters, Elizabeth McQuinn of Logansport, IN, Jo (Mike Hlebasko) McQuinn of Walton, IN, Lisa Chiavola of Logansport, IN; son, Wesley (Donna) McQuinn of OH; six grandchildren, Jordan Chiavola, Ashley Chiavola, Jocelyn Chiavola, Quinton McQuinn, Kendall Hlebasko, Lee Edwards.

She was preceded in death by a son, John McQuinn.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 20, 2022, with Pastor Dean Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.

Memorials may be made to the Helm Street Church of God in Logansport.
