Bonnie Perkins

Bonnie J. Perkins, 89, of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born on December 22, 1929 in Fulton County, Indiana, she is the daughter to the late Daniel J. and Hazel (Gellinger) Schreckenghaust.  On September 27, 1947 in Logansport, she married Richard “Dick” Perkins who preceded in death on January 13, 1996.

Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Logansport. She loved her church family and talking on the phone.

Surviving is a daughter, Linda (Rick) Barnes, Winterville, NC; sister in law, Darline Schreckenghaust, Logansport; two grandsons, Mathew (Angela) Rush, Logansport; Patrick Barnes, Winterville, NC; great grandson, Ashton Moore, Logansport.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzan Bryan; and brother, Don Schreckenghaust.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory. A private burial will be held at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 28, 2019, also in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.
