Daniel Hauser

Danny O. Hauser, 80, of Rochester, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at his son’s residence near Muncie.

Born on May 31, 1940 in Logansport, he is the son to the late Omer and Wanda (Boldry) Hauser.  On January 14, 1962 at Fletchers Lake, Indiana he married Phyllis J. St. Clair who preceded in death on October 4, 2015.

Danny retired from Deans Milk in 2007. He had also worked for Kaiser Chemical and farmed. Danny was a member of the Fulton Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are two sons, Dale Hauser of Camarillo, California and Duane Hauser of Muncie, IN; son in law, Bob Templeton, Bloomfield, IN; sister, Donna (Jerry) Hisey, Macy, IN; five grandchildren, Nathan (Kelly) Templeton, Liz (Brenden) Dyer, Taylor (Jeff) Weber, Andrew Templeton and Samantha Hauser; six great grandchildren, Julianna, Audrey, Joshua, Titan, Magnus and Kinsley ; several nieces and nephews.

One daughter, Debbie Jo Templeton, preceded in death.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Bruce Russell officiating. The funeral will be livestreamed from the funeral home website by going to the “LIVE FUNERAL SERVICE TAB”  Burial will take place in the Fulton Cemetery. For anyone wishing to attend the graveside our arrival time will be approximately 3:15 p.m..

Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service on Saturday. Covid guidelines will be followed and only 25 people will be allowed in the facility at one time.
