Obituary

Daniel L. Kniesly, 90, of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

Born on July 14, 1931, in Logansport, Daniel is the son to the late Harold Kniesly and Irene (Tracy) Vernon.  On December 30, 1951, in Logansport, he married Mildred Lee Huffman who survives.

Daniel was a graduate of Logansport High School. After graduating he served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Daniel worked for the United States Postal Service and was a member of Deer Creek Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post #60 and V.F.W. Post #3790.

Surviving along with his wife Mildred, are two daughters, Beth (Dave) Wireman of Royal Center; Lee Ann (Dean) Brickey of Windsor, MO; three grandchildren, Shane Wireman, Tara (Andy) Murray and Austin Palmer; three great grandchildren, Jakob Wireman, Austin Murray and Clayton Murray.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Harry Roselle officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Deer Creek Presbyterian Church or Cause For Paws.
