Danny Titus

Danny C. Titus, 82, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 peacefully in his home. Born on December 9, 1938 in Logansport, to the late Clark H. and Lora Helen Titus. On August 19, 1974 Danny married Minnie (Crowe) Titus, they have celebrated 46 years of marriage together.

Danny retired as a 20 year veteran of the Logansport police department. After that he and wife Minnie then took over management duties of Maple Lane Village in Logansport where he enjoyed mowing the lawn. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and an Army Veteran serving two years as an MP. Danny was also a proud member of the Blue knights and Goldwing motorcycle groups. He was also a member of the American Legion.

Early in life Danny enjoyed playing baseball. Later on in life he enjoyed bowling and going dancing with Minnie, but his real passion was golfing. He also enjoyed watching all sports on tv. His favorite football team was the Indianapolis Colts. Danny was a dedicated family man. He enjoyed spending time with his many grandkids and great grandkids. He made a positive impact on the people he spent most of his time with.

Surviving are his wife Minnie Titus, of Logansport; a sister Charlene Richardson, of Alabama; two brothers Joe (Eva) Titus, of Logansport; Dick (Lynn) Titus of Elwood; a daughter Debra Metz; two granddaughters Karlie (Mike); Kayla; his stepchildren Tom (Nancy) Rush, of Logansport; John Rush, of Logansport; Sharon Rush, of Logansport; Marie (Richard) Nolen of, Burnettsville; Carla Small, of Walton; grandchildren Kelly (Josh), Micky (Amanda), Dustin (Lyndia), Tasha (Jeff), Donnie, Sabrina (Jason), Cherenae (Neil), Chas (Nick), Cara, Braydon (Cheryl), Aly (Blake). 33 Great grandchildren; Two great-great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Titus; Larry Titus; a sister Kay O’Connor: step son Donald (Tub) Rush Jr; son-in-law, Darin Small; a granddaughter Heather Benefiel; two great grandchildren Jordan Mullens: Tenlee Kaye-Anne Rush

A private graveside service will be held for the family and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
