Diane Pyle

Diane L. Pyle (70) went home to be with her heavenly father on Thursday December 16 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Diane was born to Don and Vera (Bauman-Strong) King on October 18, 1951 and was one of five children. She married John Rodney Pyle on September 24, 1988. They had just celebrated their 34 ^th wedding anniversary.

Diane was born and raised in Logansport, IN and graduated from Logansport High School Class of 1969. Diane also attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN. She worked as a pharmacy technician and dental assistant for many years before receiving her license as a medical coder. She retired from Murfreesboro Medical Clinic in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and moved back up to Indiana to be close to her children.

Diane loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending every moment she could with them. Her favorite vacations were spent in the Smoky Mountains with her family and a road trip with her brother Mark. She had a gift of beautifully decorating homes. She enjoyed shopping antiques and twice treasured stores and completing puzzles. She loved to go to music concerts and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Diane is survived by her husband Rodney, two children John and Kimberlee (Myers) Nifong of Plymouth, Brad and Lori Myers of Angola, four grandchildren Carly, Nathan, Johnathan and Jennah. She is also survived by one great grandson, Holten Nifong, and one great grandchild on the way. And one brother Mark Allen Strong, sister in law Tammy Lucero, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs; Rylie Ann and Harley.

Diane was welcomed to Heaven by her parents and three brothers, Gary, Mike and Jeff Strong.  Memorials or donations can be made to a Humane Society of your choice. There will be a Celebration of Life for Diane at the Black Dog Coffee at 116 S 6 ^th St, Logansport, IN on January 16, 2022. The celebration will be held from 1-4 pm. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Diane’s life and share their favorite memories.
