Obituary

Elaine Kay Brown, 76, of Lucerne, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

Born on March 6, 1945, in Logansport, she is the daughter to the late Richard Dean and Betty J. (Hamon) Hoff.  On June 4, 1972, in Twelve Mile, IN, she married Jerry A. Brown who survives.

Elaine retired as a teacher for the Rochester Community School Corporation. She had also taught for the Caston School Corporation.  Elaine was a member of the Metea Baptist Church where she played the organ regularly.

Surviving is a son, David A. Brown of Lucerne; two brothers, Rodney L. (Linda) Hoff of Fletchers Lake; Dr. Kenneth E. Hoff of Rochester; granddaughter, Amber Evans of Kewanna; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard L. Hoff.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory.
